JANUARY 13, 2010 10th ANNIVERSARY CELEBRATION CONTINUES WITH 10 EVENT PACKED DAYS
TRENTON, NJ (January 13, 2010) – The 10th Anniversary celebration continues at the Sun National Bank Center with 7 Events and 4 Changeovers in 10 days. The busy week started this past Friday when the Monster Truck Winter Nationals roared into town. The bad boys of racing put on 3 huge shows. Following Monster Trucks was Broadway’s musical comedy phenomenon Hairspray, live on stage January 12th at 7:30pm. This brought along the first changeover: getting rid of an Arena worth of dirt from Monster Trucks and changing it into a theater set up for Hairspray.
After Hairspray left town on January 12th, the building was changed back over to its hockey ice for the Trenton Devils game tonight and then the Florida Everblades on Friday, January 15th at 7:00pm. Following the game on Friday night, the arena will change from hockey ice to a set-up for the Heavy Hitters Cheerleading competition, presented by Coastal Cheer and Dance Events Corporation, being at 7:30am on Saturday, January 16th. When the cheerleading event ends Saturday the building will switch right back to ice for the Devils hockey game that same night, January 16th vs. the Florida Everblades at 7:00pm.
